Can Tho, June 25, 2024 – Can Tho University (CTU) continues to affirm its active engagement and institutional role in the international project Bridging Digital Divide in Mongolia and Vietnam through HEI’s Digital Transformation (DIGITAL MOVE) by appointing multiple representatives to participate in the Consortium Conference and Training Course on Digital Transformation. The events were held concurrently from 17 to 20 June 2024 at University of Côte d’Azur (UCA), French Republic.

This important event, hosted by one of France’s leading universities, brought together representatives from all partner institutions involved in the DIGITAL MOVE project. The Consortium Conference provided a structured forum for project members to review implementation progress, discuss forthcoming activities, and make key decisions to ensure the effective coordination and overall success of the project.

Can Tho University sent a delegation of staff and lecturers to this event, including Dr. Le Van Lam, Dr. Lam Nhut Khang, Dr. Luu Trung Duong, Dr. Huynh Thi Thuy Diem, and Dr. Ngo Ba Hung. The large presence of representatives from Can Tho University demonstrated the university's strong commitment and positive contribution to the project's activities.

Within the framework of the event, alongside the Consortium Conference, a training course for staff on ​​Digital Transformation was also held. This training focused on enhancing professional capacity and updating knowledge and skills on the latest advanced digital technologies and solutions to support the digital transformation process at partner universities.

The participation of representatives from Can Tho University in both the Consortium Conference and the Training Course reflects the university’s comprehensive engagement across all components of the DIGITAL MOVE project. Through active involvement in project discussions and experience sharing at the Consortium Conference, together with the acquisition of updated knowledge and practical skills during the Training Course, CTU staff are better positioned to contribute effectively to the implementation of digital transformation initiatives at the university, while further strengthening cooperation with international partners.

Can Tho University’s active and proactive engagement in the DIGITAL-MOVE project further reinforces its standing within the international higher education community and demonstrates the university’s commitment to applying digital technologies to enhance the quality of training, research, and institutional management, in support of sustainable development and international integration.
