On January 15–16, 2026, a delegation from Can Tho University (CTU) participated in the Closing Conference of the Erasmus+ project Bridging Digital Divide in Mongolia and Vietnam through HEI’s Digital Transformation (DIGITAL MOVE), hosted by Da Nang University. The conference brought together experts, scholars, and institutional leaders from partner universities in Vietnam, France, Slovakia, and Mongolia.

The conference included plenary sessions and thematic presentations focusing on digital transformation in higher education, the sharing of effective implementation practices from leading universities in Europe and Asia, as well as the presentation of key project outcomes, products, and policy recommendations developed under the DIGITAL MOVE project. Several contributions highlighted the importance of digital competencies, digital soft skills, and human resource development in supporting sustainable digital transformation and international integration in higher education.
As a member of the project, Can Tho University actively engaged in discussions and academic exchanges with partner institutions, focusing on sharing experiences in the implementation of digital transformation in training activities. CTU’s contributions highlighted key achievements in digital transformation, as well as strengths and challenges encountered during implementation. The discussions further addressed the development of hybrid learning models, the upgrading of online courses, and the effective use of the LMS platform (CTU e-Learning) to enhance interaction, support self-directed learning, and strengthen learners’ digital competencies.

In addition to reviewing the overall activities and outcomes of the project, delegates discussed the establishment and continued operation of the DIGITAL MOVE Network, as well as proposed directions for cooperation in the post-project phase (2026–2030). These exchanges contribute to advancing sustainable digital transformation in higher education, closely linked to enhancing the quality of university governance, training, and scientific research.
Participation in the Erasmus+ DIGITAL MOVE Project Closing Conference further reinforces Can Tho University’s active role and institutional responsibility within the project’s international cooperation network, and demonstrates the university’s commitment to disseminating effective digital transformation models in support of building a modern, integrated, and sustainable higher education ecosystem.
