Visiting Scholars 

International faculty and scholars wishing to come to CTU as a Visiting Scholar, short-term training on specific fields or other category usually should first make contact with a University Academics institutional willing to be a sponsor.

 Procedures for Welcoming International Delegations and Guests

1.1. Proposal documents must be submitted to the Rectorate Board.

The documents need to be specified:

- The guest’s personal information as follow:

+ Organizations in which the guests are working for.

+ Names, Surnames, Passport numbers, Nationalities, Genders.

+ Guests’ working duration/ schedule

+ Anticipated temporary address in Viet Nam

- Reasons/ Purposes of working guests (in what programs or projects)

- Letters of cooperation such as MOU/MOA (if any)

Note: Please mention visa application or trips to local sites in this official dispatch in case the departments/ colleges will assist the guests for apply for the visas or guide the guests to provinces so that the International Relations Department (IRD) will soon jointly coordinate. 

1.2. After receiving the Rectorate Board’s agreement, IRD will carry out the needed supports due to the guests’ working schedule; store the delegations information and report to the local security agencies;

1.3. The departments/ colleges coordinate with other units for guests’ accommodation or transportation. (if necessary) 

1.4. The units welcome the international guests/ delegations.
