On January 14, 2026, Can Tho University welcomed and held a working session with a delegation from Wonkwang University (Republic of Korea), led by Prof. Kang Yeon Seok, Dean, Office of International Affairs, Wonkwang University. Representing Can Tho University, Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Hai, Vice Rector, together with representatives of relevant units.

During the meeting, the two universities discussed key areas of cooperation, including student and faculty exchange programs, the implementation of joint research projects, and the expansion of research collaboration in the fields of environmental studies and agriculture. The working session contributed to strengthening international cooperation and creating further opportunities for learning and research in Korea for faculty members and students of Can Tho University in the near future.
